First reorganization committee meeting scheduled
The first meeting of the seven members of the White River Township and Greenwood reorganization committee is set for this Thursday, January 15. The meeting, at the Greenwood city building (21 North Madison Ave), will begin at 6:30 and is designed as an initial organizational meeting for what will most likely be a year long process. In a conversation with Greenwood Mayor Charles Henderson he stated it is his intention is introduce the members and then leave them to their task. The mayor stated that any person interested in serving on a subcommittee is encouraged to attend the meeting. This meeting, and all meetings of the committee, are open to the public, whether you care to serve or simply observe.
