30 resumes submitted for sub-commitee positions
Pat Sherman, Committee Chair, would like to see even more
It is encouraging that about thirty individuals have already submitted their resumes for positions on the reorganization sub-committees, but more are being requested. While the final number has not be set, it is expected there will be about 35 people spread across the six committees.
If you want to submit a resume you don’t have to have any experience in government, in fact, those currently in government roles are not allowed to apply. Rather, the group is looking for talented local citizens who are willing to assist the citizens of Greenwood and White River Township makeĀ a very important decision: Should the two reorganize into a single city?
If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail the the Greenwood city mayor’s office at mayor@greenwood.in.gov. It will then be distributed to all the committee members for their review and consideration. While it is not yet officially scheduled, Mr. Sherman hopes to get the committee together this coming Thursday evening to consider the applications. We will post the time and place when it is finalized, the public is invited to attend.
