Jack Cruse resigns from Governance Sub-Committee

by: Dann Veldkamp Sunday, April 19th, 2009

Another member of the White River Township-Greenwood reorganization committee has resigned. This time it is Jack Cruse, a member of the Governance Sub-Committee. In his e-mail to committee chairman Pat Sherman Mr. Cruse says while he supports the goals of the committee, the merger of White River Township and Greenwood, he has “personal and professional” concerns about the sub-committee’s leader, Don Hanlin. Mr. Cruse says he is “immediately withdrawing from Sub-Committee.”

If the lines of succession are followed as laid out at the original naming of the sub-commitees, Ryan Rhoten would be the next appointee to the sub-committee. However, this did not occur the last time a member resigned and the replacement was hand-picked by chairman Pat Sherman.
