Self-incorporation of Center Grove, who supports it?
While reviewing some video of the May 6th White River Township board meeting (see story here) where the board discussed three resolutions that could have, and still might change the focus of the reorganization effort I ran across an interesting exchange between Ed Woods, an active member of White River Township who also currently serves on the reorganization’s Health, Safety and Welfare sub-committee and White River Township board chair Mark Messick. Mr. Woods asked Mr. Messick why the reorganization committee was also not looking at the self-incorporation option. Mr. Messick not only provided an answer but perhaps a little insight into his own personal opinion. You watch, you decide.
